THE ROLE

 

Labour Connect is currently seeking reliable and experienced Food Production Workers to join a fast-paced manufacturing team based in Sydney. This role will involve working in a food production environment assisting with the preparation, processing, and packaging of food products to meet daily production targets.

 

You will be part of a supportive team working in a high-volume facility where attention to detail, speed, and food safety are essential. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing work with potential for long-term employment.

 

Please note: This role is not suitable for students due to full-time roster requirements.

 

SHIFT TIMES & RATES

 

• Wednesday to Sunday roster
• Morning shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm → $33.85 per hour
• Afternoon/Night shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm → $37.50 per hour
• 8-hour shifts with potential overtime depending on production needs

 

DUTIES

 

• Working on production lines in a food manufacturing environment
• Preparing, processing, and packaging food products
• Labelling, sorting, and quality checking finished goods
• Operating basic production machinery (training provided where required)
• Maintaining strict hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times
• Following all food safety and workplace safety procedures
• Assisting with general labouring duties as required

 

THE ESSENTIALS

 

• Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred
• Physically fit and able to complete repetitive manual handling tasks
• Ability to work in fast-paced and cold-room environments
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Full Australian working rights
• Available to work Wednesday to Sunday roster
