- Prepare, inspect, grind, patch, and repair substrates to ensure surfaces are suitable for waterproofing installation
- Install liquid and sheet membrane systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications, including correct thickness, laps, terminations, and detailing
- Complete compliant wet area, balcony, podium, and basement waterproofing systems in line with NCC and AS 3740 requirements
- Conduct flood testing, QA documentation, and follow project specifications, ITPs, and site safety procedures
THE ESSENTIALS
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in commercial / remedial waterproofing
- White Card (required)
- Trade qualification in waterproofing or demonstrable competency across compliant waterproofing systems
- Strong knowledge of wet areas, balconies, basements, and membrane systems

DESCRIPTION
The Estimator ensures the timely and accurate completion of property repair assessments and scope of works for our customers with a heavy focus on KPI’s, accuracy of costings and scope, and quality customer service. The role requires a strong understanding of relevant building codes, insurance processes, and HSEQ requirements. The Estimator engages and coordinates specialist trades when necessary and integrates their findings into comprehensive reports for insurers. Risk identification and planning support for high-risk activities form a core part of the role, ensuring works meet legislative and safety standards. Internally, the Estimator maintains accurate records across all business platforms and upholds clear, professional communication with customers, insurers, and colleagues to manage expectations and support efficient claim progression. The Estimator is also expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, provide technical support to internal teams, and complete tasks aligned with business needs. Flexibility for overtime and travel may be required during surge events or major incidents.

• Engage appropriate specialist trades for complex or technical assessments, reviewing and incorporating findings into reports as required.
• Ensure all estimations comply with relevant legislation, codes, and HSEQ standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, insurers, and other stakeholders, clearly outlining the insurance and repair process.
• Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the estimation process through timely and professional communication.
