The primary purpose of this role is to provide customer service to both internal and external customers for all customers (food service and retail). This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of orders (input and invoicing) and the booking of the relevant transport. They ensure that all goods are dispatched with all relevant documentation, in full and on time. They communicate any issues with the customers and team.

• Process of purchase orders into relevant system/s along with booking of necessary transport
• Providing information and help to solve customer problems regarding their purchase orders inclusive of out of stocks, pricing and substitute products available.
• Maintain communication with customers, logistics teams, and other departments to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any delivery issues or delays.
• Ensure all orders are booked into relevant transport portal with correct paperwork to ensure customer DOT requirements
• Ensure all orders are available for picking and processing with both ERP and WMS systems
• Ensuring positive customer service is provided.
• Accurate processing of orders in timely manner with relevant documentation
• Communication with internal and external customers
• Ensure warehouse office is clean and tidy at all times
• Provide support and training to other warehouse administration personnel
• Pallet control – address any shortages and errors and ensure supply of pallets
• Adhere to all OH&S regulations

• Accurate input of order with less than 1% errors
• Accurate invoicing of orders with less than 1% errors with accurate paperwork or email requirements
• Clear and precise communication to customer both internal and external
• All goods dispatched within time frame or communicated

Ability to communicate well and remain calm under pressure

A polite, friendly and tactful manner when handling complains or enquires

Proven ability and experience in a customer service focused environment

Excellent verbal communication skills

Problem solving skills

Good numeracy and computer skills (eg: Microsoft office)

THE ROLE

Labour Connect is currently seeking reliable and experienced HR and MR Drivers to join a professional team of truck drivers, delivering our clients’ goods and services safely and efficiently across Sydney.

This role will see you delivering goods safely and efficiently across Sydney while ensuring timely and professional service to customers. Working within a fast-paced transport environment, you will operate HR or MR vehicles across various delivery routes, allowing you to grow into a role where your limitations are only what you put on yourself.

SHIFT TIMES & RATES

• Mon–Fri work (occasional Sunday – double time)
• 8–10-hour shifts
• Morning: 5:00am – 6:00am start
• Night: 6:00pm – 7:00pm start
• MR Drivers: $32.84 P/H (day) | $40.72 P/H (night)
• HR Drivers: $33.21 P/H (day) | $41.18 P/H (night)

DUTIES

• Safely operate HR/MR vehicles for multi-drop deliveries across Sydney
• Manually load and unload goods at warehouse and customer locations
• Secure and handle freight to prevent damage in transit
• Complete delivery runs on time and follow scheduled routes
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries and pickups

THE ESSENTIALS

• Required to hold an existing MR or HR driver’s License.
• MR or HR driving experience required
• Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks up to (25kgs-35kgs).
• Full Australian working rights
